Recognized Organizations

Recognized Organizations are authorized by the Flag State of Sierra Leone to conduct statutory certification surveys and services under mandatory IMO Instruments and national legislation on behalf of the Flag.

Authorized Recognized Organizations are being audited in accordance with the RO Code on a regular basis by the Administration in order to ensure the compliance of the Organization with the RO Code and Flag State’s requirements.

All authorized Recognized Organizations can be found in Maritime Circular No.3 “List of Authorized ROs”.
